| Management |
CAS was designed to alleviate some of the often repetitive and duplicative processes surrounding the completion, processing and managing of credentialing and privileging applications. CAS can ease your administrative burden by creating a file containing all necessary credentialing data, including copies of all required documents.
You build your file to contain the information needed to complete credentialing applications, including copies of necessary documentation. As information changes, documents expire or renewals approach, CAS contacts you for updated information. For example, the malpractice insurance certificate in your master file expires May 1. CAS contacts you in February. This alert helps you begin your insurance renewal process and CAS remains in contact with you until your new certificate is issued and a copy is received by CAS.
|
| Another Example: CME |
| As you acquire CMEs you can send them to CAS where your certificates can be scanned in and/or hours updated in your file. No more having to scramble to find your CME information at renewal. Your file is updated, ready for the next application request.
